Zorn Compressor & Equipment’s In-House Shop Capabilities
Zorn Compressor & Equipment is known for our premiere compressed air offerings and services, but did you know that we also have our own in-house shop to fully serve all our customers? Our shop and dedicated shop team can take your equipment in and tackle a variety of services and repair needs all under one roof. Having our own in-house shop affords us the luxury of not always needing to send severe equipment problems away to the manufacturers, but instead have our own experts work on them at our Pewaukee location, resulting in faster turnaround times for you!
Capabilities
Our range of capabilities is longer than the items you see listed below as we take on many unique cases and requests every week! While the list below are our standard shop capabilities, if you have a project regarding your air equipment that you need help with, reach out to us to see if our shop experts can handle it for you.
- Air Compressor Assessment & Repair
- Vacuum Pump Assessment & Repair
- Air Dryer Assessment & Repair
- Custom Modification Projects
- Vacuum Pump Rebuilds
- Case-By-Case Projects
Standard Process
Our shop procedures are put in place for efficiency and ease of use for our customers. Below you will see the standard process for equipment submittal into our shop.
- Zorn Technician, or our customer, locates a problem with the equipment that needs more in-depth attention than our on-site tech can provide.
- Zorn technician brings unit in, the customer ships unit to Zorn Pewaukee Shop, or the customer drops unit off themself.
- Shop technician accepts equipment and performs thorough assessment of unit
- Shop team creates recommendations based off the in-depth assessment on whether the issue warrants a repair or full replacement.
- If a full replacement is needed, the customer will be connected with their local Zorn compressed air expert to find the right replacement option for their operations.
- If repair is the solution, our shop team will draw up a quote detailing all the necessary parts and labor needed to successfully complete the job.
- Once the customer approves the quote, the shop orders any parts we do not have in stock at our facility and begins repair.
- After repair is completed, depending on the size of the unit and location of our customer, either one of our technicians will bring the unit back to the customer’s facility, we will ship the unit back, or if the customer prefers, they may pick the unit up themselves.
Interim Rental Options
We know that having your compressed air equipment sent away for repairs means you may need to halt production at your facility. Zorn is proud to offer rental solutions for our customers so that you don’t have to deal with any downtime while your unit is in the shop. Our extensive rental fleet ranges in equipment type, technology, and size with the ability to do either short- or long-term rentals.
You do not need to know the length you will need your rental unit when renting from Zorn Compressor & Equipment. Our rental process was designed with flexibility in mind. We know that your air equipment is the heart of your production and we want to do all we can to help keep your operations up and running! Our rental rates are also flexible based upon each unique requirement.
