Job Description

  • Field Service Technician

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on industrial air compressors and related system equipment at customer locations
  • Respond to customer needs in a positive, supportive and timely manner
  • Communicate job progress to supervisor and customer as needed
  • Complete service orders and maintain customer records

 

Qualifications

  • Self-directed, organized and good communication skills
  • Positive attitude and ability to provide excellent professional customer service
  • Ability to maintain a safe and clean work environment
  • Basic computer skills
  • Minimum 2 years experience maintaining & repairing various types of mechanical and electrical equipment (training provided)
  • Own mechanic tool set
  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record
  • Available for 24-hour emergency calls

Job Description

  • Customer Service - Parts Specialist

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Identify and quote maintenance and repair parts for industrial air compressors and related system equipment
  • Work directly with customers by phone, email and/or in person
  • Assist service department to identify and order parts needed to complete work orders
  • Communicate with vendors for pricing and delivery information
  • Order parts and update inventory control system

 

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience working with customers
  • Resourceful and ability to multitask
  • Must have some mechanical/technical knowledge
  • Good communication skills (phone/verbal and written)
  • Ability to respond to requirements in a positive, supportive and timely manner
  • Basic computer skills
